About a Personal Chef
Personal Chefs cook for several families or individuals, unlike private chefs, who cook only for a single family or individual. Personal Chefs cook usually once a week or every other week or even once a month.
Once we have arranged your free consultation, I will come to your house to discuss in detail your food preferences and your nutritional needs. I then develop your personalized and customized menus, detailing entrees and some side dishes. I will present these menus for your final approval before I start preparations for shopping and cooking at your home. We then schedule your cooking day and I can arrive as early as needed so that you may be off to work or play.
On your scheduled cooking day:
- I will shop for the groceries
- Come to your home with my own cooking utensils and equipment
- Prepare several entrees at one time in your kitchen
- Package and store meals in the refrigerator or freezer
- Provide heating instructions
- Leave your home nice, clean and spotless
- AND do all the clean up, making sure that it is exactly as how it looks like when you left it that day.
Why hire a Personal Chef?
Is your day consumed with long hours at work? Are you concerned about eating healthy meals, yet lack the time in your day for all the shopping and preparation that goes along with it? Do you have special dietary needs that make it difficult to prepare food or even eat out? Would you like to have more time for your family and not worry about what is for dinner?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you need my services.
I offer the following:
- Customized healthy meals
- Personalized weight control programs
- Cooking classes, cooking parties!

Additional Benefits: Free yourself to spend more quality time with your family or devote yourself to your favorite leisure pursuits!
The Cost:
A working couple can expect to spend about $249 plus the cost of groceries for twenty home-cooked dinners. Depending on how often you eat them, these can last anywhere from one week to a month. Some personal chefs have clients who literally eat their food every night, while others have clients who love to cook too but just want something in the freezer for the nights when they don't have time or feel like cooking.
A couple will pay a little more per week for dinner with a personal chef. But when all the benefits have been taken into consideration and the alternatives factored in, you will be surprised to discover how having a personal chef service provides fine value for the money invested on yourself. PLUS you can always say that you have your very own White House Chef! :-)
